Will I or won’t I rendezvous with “over the knee boots”?
Whilst over the knee boots have been gracing blogs and celebrities’ legs for a while, it is only now that we in the southern hemisphere can start entertaining the idea of wearing this fashion trend. I love winter fashions!
While there’s no doubting that they are sexy, I’m not sure how our relationship would go. I’m imagining the squelchy noises of synthetic materials rubbing together as I sit on the grass in a park. I wonder if they would resist my bending knees as I attempt to sit cross legged on the floor with my dog. Do you wear over the knee boots? If so, please share because I’m more than a little curious!
These boots from Peep Toe Shoes for $499 are made of suede so the squelching fear would be resolved. I also like the idea of versatility like these, in that the top can be folded up or down to change the height of the boots. For you girls who can rock a 12cm heel, these could be great. Even though my eyes are loitering over these, my running-injured legs would have to settle for a flat version.
And that was going to be the end of this post. I was going to sum it up and the title was going to be “I won’t rendezvous with over the knee boots”.
Until… my poor legs did a little skip at the sight of these flat over the knee suede boots from Country Road for $299. I think they are still sexy with the element of comfort for my legs thrown in. Mmmm. Which ones do I like best? Black or Rich Husk? Eenie meeni miney mo…
