An Affair With Fashion

Her love of makeup started at the age of 3 when she raided her Mum’s makeup case. Naturally her love of wearing her Mum’s (platform) shoes then followed! Not only does she come from a solid background of makeup indulgence, but Tamara is smart and has a well-rounded view on life and what’s important. Read more about her here. There are other reasons why I’ve fallen in blog-love with Tamara. She’s definitely my kind of woman…

1. She volunteers for Dress for Success. This is a program that helps disadvantaged women enter or re-enter into the workforce with a few killer outfits, support networks and career skills that instil confidence. So, guessing she is really a nice person in real life, hey? I’ve also been involved with this program here in Australia in the past, so I was excited to learn that she is involved with this in America. See we have so much in common already. But wait…

2. She puts nutella on her banana pancakes. Bonus points!

3. Running is her preferred form of exercise. Game Set Match!

Ah yes, she and I are a match made in blogosphere. Although our relationship might hit a rocky patch over the distances we like to run. I’m a shorter distance girl, she’s completed a marathon! So, Tamara we’ll start off our training sessions together, then I’ll stop at a cafe and wait for you. I’ll have a fresh fruit juice ready on your return. And the pancakes. Deal? Oh, ok, you can put make up on me afterwards. If you must. Give and take. I’d do that for you.
